Visions of the Kathmandu Valley – photographic slideshow

Here is a short slideshow of some of my favorite images from the Kathmandu Valley which I’ve taken over the past several years. Take a look and you’ll see why I find Kathmandu the most photographically inspiring place I know.

On a related note, this October 12-22, 2019, I’ll be co-teaching a course for the Himalayan Writer’s Workshop in Kathmandu entitled “Sacred Expression: Words, Images and Practice in the Kathmandu Valley.” Joining me will be the award-winning travel writer and editor Lavinia Spalding, and Buddhist scholar, humanitarian and all-around great guy James Hopkins.
