Dalai Lama…

I’d like to write more, but the internet cafe I am in just lost it’s power and the temperature is going up about a degree a minute. I’m in Auroville right now but had wonderful adventures in Chennai. In a nutshell there were many reasons that in retrospect my trip took me to Chennai again, having much to do with my heart. I’ll try to write more when sweat isn’t dripping down my nose onto the spacebar.

I called Yuval from Chennai. He’s a good friend of my friends in Fort Bragg Judson and Fabienne. Anyway he lives in this area and he said to hurry down because the Dalai Lama would be speaking here. i was out until after midnight with a wonderful man named Samuel who i’ll write about at another time, but i got up early and hopped a bus to Pnndicherry. Beautiful and cool bus ride down the coast. Anyway, i did get there in time to see and hear the Dalai Lama. What a treat that was. He spoke on World Unity and just his kindness/compassion philosophies in general. What a wonder it was to be in his presence again. i waved goodbye to him and blew him a kiss as perhaps i won’t have a chance to see him again. One never knows.

i’m trying to write with only small “i”s when referring to myself. Kind of a meditative reminder that i’m not really my ego (the Big I).

Anyway, feeling like i want to get back into India India. I’ve been spending a little too much time in places frequented by Westerners lately.

Gotta go out in the hot sun and cool off right now. later.

Greetings Ted,I just wanted you to know that I am reading your blog – in case you think there is no one out there. It is wonderful and interesting and profound. Thank you so very much for sharing all your thoughts and your images. Love, Carolyn

Hi ted. II’m using a lower case ‘t’ in solidarity with your lower case self reference. II’m also using two I’s for me to help point out my massive and meritless sense of self importance.II love that You are out there exploring and in a way, II feel like II am out there with You.II used an upper case ‘Y’ in ‘You’ to remind You of how important, special, and dear You are to MMEE.
